President Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” combined with other federal changes are having an impact on state bottom lines, leading to states likely exploring ways to backfill those funds. The BA is asking brewers to be vigilant, as we anticipate that many states will propose excise tax increases and other fees to make up the shortfall.
