The Georgia Craft Brewers Guild (GCBG) took another swing at self-distribution with Senate Bill 122, and received a hearing on the bill, but ultimately could not get a committee vote. While disappointing, 2025 is the start of the biennium in Georgia, and because it didn’t receive an unfavorable vote, the bill remains alive into next session when some potential turnover in the committee may present an opportunity to move the legislation. The GCBG is working through the interim to educate lawmakers and try to move the bill forward in 2026.
