In May, the FDA extended the comment deadline for its front-of-label packaging rule to July 15, 2025. The rule would require new disclosures on the front of food labels and would apply to alcohol beverages outside of TTB’s labeling jurisdiction (mostly fermented hard seltzers and hard ciders). BA plans to submit comments on the proposed rule.
