While the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has yet to publish the 2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans, major changes are afoot. In May the Secretaries of Agriculture and HHS (Robert F. Kennedy Jr.) announced plans to pare down the next iteration of the Dietary Guidelines to a concise four pages. What, if anything, those Guidelines say about alcohol consumption is not clear currently.
