The Brewers Association will submit comments to the TTB to provide input on the Agency’s proposed new regulations mandating “alcohol facts” and major allergen disclosures on the labels falling under its primary jurisdiction. In February we began soliciting member input on the proposed regulations in preparation for filing comments just prior to the comment deadline.

On the subject of the comment deadline, the Brewers Association will join with other industry trade associations to request a 120-day extension to the comment period of both the proposed alcohol facts and allergen rules. The current deadline is April 17, 2025. We believe that the recent change in administration and the sweeping nature of the proposed changes both warrant additional time for commentary.

The impact of the new administration on the priorities and operations of the TTB remain unknown at this time.
