Wrightsville Beach Brewery

Jud Watkins is the owner, operator, and Head Oyster Shucker at Wrightsville Beach Brewery in North Carolina. Over the last four years Watkins has led his incredible team through four hurricanes, a snow storm, and now a pandemic on the way to becoming a staple in the local community in good times and bad. As a native to the coast of North Carolina, Watkins is no stranger to fishing, cold beers on the beach, and chasing quality surf before and after hurricanes. Wrightsville Beach Brewery operates a 20 barrel brewhouse and 200 seat restaurant in the Wilmington area, producing quality “beach beers” and serving awesome local seafood. The brewery also prides itself in its philanthropic efforts, partnering with local non-profits for a variety of fund-raising as well as serving more than 3,000 hot meals thus far since the “coronavirus lockdown” began.
