Kaylyn Kirkpatrick is the director of education for the Brewers Association where she works diligently to ensure members are equipped with the educational resources they need to thrive and survive. Previously, Kaylyn managed the Cornell University Brewing Extension program where she worked to develop and facilitate resources for the craft beer community in New York state. She got her start in beer working in quality assurance at New Belgium Brewing Company. Kaylyn has an academic background in brewing science, having completed an M.S. at Oregon State University where she led the first investigations into "hop creep" as well as earning the prestigious Diploma in Brewing from the Institute of Brewing & Distilling in London.

Kaylyn is an active competition beer judge, having participated in regional, national, and international beer competitions such as the National Homebrew Competition (NHC), Great American Beer Festival® (GABF®), and World Beer Cup® (WBC). She proudly serves on the Master Brewers Association of the Americas (MBAA) National Technical Committee and the American Society of Brewing Chemists (ASBC) Webinar Subcommittee. She is the author of the eCornell Craft Brewing course, a crash course in beer ingredients and commercial brewing for hobbyists and professional brewers alike.

Paul Gatza is the Senior Vice President of Professional Brewing Division at the Brewers Association. Paul’s origin in the beer community started when he took up homebrewing in 1990. He worked on the bottling line at Boulder Beer and would sneak over to the brewhouse when opportunity allowed. He owned a pair of homebrew supply shops in Boulder and Longmont, Colorado from 1994 to 1998. He served as director of the American Homebrewers Association for seven years and is in his 23rd year as Brewers Association director. Paul is ranked as a National Beer Judge by the Beer Judge Certification Program. Paul is also a former judge director of both the Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup, before moving to the judge panels for these elite competitions.

Louis Livingston-Garcia currently works as a part-time administrator and writer for the Brewers Association's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, as lead storyteller for Crafted For All, and helms the Tulip and Schooner beer and spirit newsletter for Heavy Table. He has a brewing and beer steward technology certificate from Dakota County Technical College, and has cleaned kegs, wrapped cans and crowlers, provided barrel tasting notes, and helped brew thanks to it at Forager Brewing Co., Little Thistle, Tin Whiskers, and Bent Brewstillery. His written work has been featured in many publications, including Growler Magazine, Heavy Table, City Pages, 507 Magazine, Official Xbox Magazine, Game Informer, GamesRadar, October, The Pursuit of Hoppiness, and more. He has professionally photographed Kodiak bears in the wild, Minnesota United FC soccer matches, and countless breweries and beer events. If he isn't traveling around the world with his wife, he is most likely playing soccer, watching soccer, playing video games, or reading with his cat, Miyamoto (yes, named after the creator of Super Mario Bros.), in his lap, and a beer nearby.

Chuck joined the Brewers Association staff in 2013 after a long career as a craft brewer. He opened Tennessee’s first brewpub, Boscos, in 1992. As an owner and director of brewery operations for Boscos Brewing Company, he opened additional brewpubs in Memphis, Nashville, and Little Rock, Arkansas. In 2007, Chuck opened and operated Ghost River Brewing in Memphis. He has served as chair of the Association of Brewers Board of Advisors, chair of the Association of Brewers Board of Directors, and was a member of the first Board of Directors for the Brewers Association. In his capacity as technical brewing projects manager, Chuck works with the Technical Committee and the safety, sustainability, quality, draught beer quality, engineering, and supply chain subcommittees to encourage and facilitate best practices in all phases of Brewers Association members' brewery operations.

A former professor of Communication Studies, Dr. J Jackson-Beckham dedicated her academic career to the study of American beer. Today, she helps craft beverage organizations develop inclusive, equitable, and just practices that drive success, build communities, and empower individuals through her professional development platform, Crafted For All, LLC. She is also the founder and Executive Director of Craft x EDU (pronounced “craft by E-D-U”), a nonprofit whose mission is to champion equity, inclusion, and justice in the craft brewing community through education and professional development. She is an author, speaker, and vocal advocate for the craft beverage community. In 2018, Dr. J was named the Brewers Association's first ever Diversity Ambassador. Today, Jackson-Beckham leads the Brewers Association's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) department as the association's Equity & Inclusion Partner.
