It is that time of year to collect and document your occupational injury data from 2024 and, if applicable, submit it to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). With more data, OSHA will be better equipped to protect employees through outreach activities and enforcement efforts. Read on to determine what is required by whom and when.
Who Does This Affect?
- You must keep records of serious work-related illnesses and injuries for five years, AND you must visibly post Form 300A data in the workplace by February 1, 2025 if your establishment(s) has 10+ employees.
- You must submit Form 300A data by March 2, 2025 if your establishment meets one of the following criteria:
- Has 250 or more employees and is not in an industry listed in the Exempt Industries list in Appendix A to Subpart B of OSHA’s recordkeeping regulation of 29 CFR Part 1904.
- Has 20-249 employees and is in an industry listed in Appendix A to Subpart E of 29 CFR Part 1904.
- You must submit Form 300 AND Form 301 data by March 2, 2025 if your establishment(s) has 100 or more employees and is in an industry listed in Appendix B to Subpart E of 29 CFR Part 1904 (beverage manufacturers, NAICS code 3121, including breweries, are on the list).

Important Deadlines
- February 1, 2025: Deadline to visibly post Form 300A data in the workplace (for establishments with 10+ employees)
- March 2, 2025: Deadline to submit 2024 data (if required; see above)
Privacy Notice
Establishments are required to include their company name in data submissions. OSHA intends to post some of the accumulated data to a public website after removing information that could identify individuals, such as their names and contact information.
OSHA does not collect employee names or addresses, names of health care professionals, or names and addresses of facilities where treatment was provided if treatment was provided away from the worksite.
