Voting Open Oct. 20 – Nov. 19
The Brewers Association’s 2025 Board of Directors election is officially open. Voting is quick, online, and helps shape the direction of your association and the craft brewing community.
Who Can Vote
If your brewery is a voting member of the Brewers Association, you’re eligible to cast one ballot per company (not per location). Voting member criteria are defined in the bylaws.
What’s at Stake
Five three-year seats are open this year—two for packaging brewers, two for pub brewers, and one for taproom brewers—plus an additional two-year packaging seat to fill a recent vacancy. Positions begin in February 2026.
How It Works
- Each member brewery can vote in only one category (packaging, pub, or taproom).
- Not sure which class fits you? No problem—vote in all three, and we will retain your ballot in the correct category.
- Only votes from your member class will count toward that class’s seats.
The one or two candidates with the most votes in each class will fill the open three-year seats, and the packaging brewer candidate with the third-highest vote total will fill the two-year term.
Why It Matters
The BA Board guides every major initiative—from government affairs and events to marketing, technical programs, and member benefits. Your vote ensures the board reflects the diversity, values, and priorities of small and independent brewers like you.
Voting is open through Nov. 19.
Voting Class Definitions
- Pub brewers sell more than 25% of their production onsite and operate significant food services.
- Packaging brewers sell 75% or more of their production outside of the brewery.
- Taproom brewers sell more than 25% of their production onsite and do not operate significant food services.
