The Brewers Association (BA) has released a new guide to help taproom managers integrate the Front-of-House Taproom Staff Training program into their staff onboarding processes.
In May, we released the BA’s Front-of-House Taproom Staff Training Program, a multi-module online course that covers the fundamentals of service, hospitality, and beer knowledge.
This course provides crucial skills and information for onboarding new staff and retraining existing staff, while freeing up time for management to focus on trainings specific to their taproom. All active BA members and their staff have free access to this training program, along with all courses on the BA Training Center.

This guide—accessed from the BA Training Center—provides taproom managers with a structured plan for integrating the Front-of-House Taproom Staff Training program into your taproom’s onboarding process.
The guide integrates the materials from the training program into a suggested 1-day, 1-week, and 1-month onboarding process that also accounts for training specific to your taproom, like safety procedures and POS systems.
