The European Beer Star, now in its 14th year, is one of the most recognized beer competitions in the world, committed to the traditional European art of brewing. The competition evaluates the beers on the basis of purely sensory criteria and is limited to beer categories, which originate in Europe. Sixty Brewers Association Export Development Program members sent 228 beers for the 2017 European Beer Star competition. BA EDP members won 30 awards in 21 different categories in the competition.
