Boulder, CO • January 26, 2011—The Brewers Association announces the publication of the 2011-2012 Brewers' Resource Directory (BRD). This marks the 21st publication of the BRD, which has long been regarded as the most comprehensive directory of North American breweries, suppliers, wholesalers, associations, guilds and professional publications.
The new BRD also contains exclusive information of value to all segments of the brewing industry, notably the 2010 Benchmarking and Best Practices Survey. Industry-wide trends are highlighted including distribution, employee benefits, advertising, marketing and sales expenditures, social media use, financials and revenue information, overhead, taxes and debt ratio and much more.
"The BRD provides one-stop shopping for reliable information in the brewing industry," explains publisher Kristi Switzer. "The value of the survey data alone makes this a crucial resource for breweries, wholesalers and all other segments of the trade."
Additionally, the 2011-2012 BRD features an overview of franchise laws, summarized state by state by the Brewers Association's legal counsel. (Please note: nothing in the BRD should be construed as constituting or substituting for legal advice.)
As always, Brewers Association members receive one free copy of the BRD as a membership benefit, and members may purchase additional copies at $59 each. The publication is also available for $125 to non-members. To learn more about membership or join the Brewers Association, please visit BrewersAssociation.org.
