Independent American craft brewers from across the country will exhibit at the 37th Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, Calif., January 15-17. The Fancy Food Show is North America’s largest specialty food and beverage marketplace. The Brewers Association Export Development Program (EDP) will highlight the diversity and quality of American craft beer in the craft brewer’s pavilion.

Attendees at this industry-only event will enjoy three days to sample American craft beers from 12 brewers at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Participating craft brewers will showcase a variety of brands to highlight the broad range of flavors and styles produced by America’s small and independent brewers.

“We are excited to participate in the Fancy Food Show,” said Brewers Association COO Bob Pease. “Fancy Food may be hosted in the U.S., but it attracts a large contingent of international buyers. This is why the EDP is participating, and we hope it will help American craft brewers gain exposure in the marketplace and ultimately sell more craft beer domestically and abroad.”

Jason Randles, digital marketing manager for Deschutes Brewery, is also enthusiastic about the opportunity: “We are looking forward to our first Fancy Food Show because, over the past few years, we’ve seen increased focus on creative craft beer and food pairing. With beer, flavor profiles and ingredient options are practically endless.”

Randles added, “At Deschutes Brewery, we experiment constantly to discover new styles and varieties. As breweries continue to push the envelope, both beer and beer-inspired cuisine expose the connoisseur’s palate to an abundance of new tastes and combinations.”
