The Brewers Association is again planning to hold export presentations and a reception at this year’s Great American Beer Festival. The BA has planned for discussions covering our European activities with the BA’s Craft Beer Ambassador, Andreas Fält and briefly on the EDP Quality Control Brochure and launch with the BA COO Bob Pease. New this year, the reception following the presentations, will allow more time for networking and socializing.
The Export Development Program session will take place on Friday October 11th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Colorado Convention Center in the “BREWERS STUDIO PAVILION “. To locate the “BREWERS STUDIO PAVILION” Go to the Brewers Registration Area (Hall F/Upper Lobby). We will have people there to direct/escort you to the reception. It is best if you are there no later than 1:45pm.
Andreas Fält – Brewers Association European Craft Beer Ambassador, is charged with educating the beer community and media in Europe about the availability and quality of American craft beer. Andreas will present on some of the highlights of his recent work on behalf of the Export Development Program and American Craft Beer. Andreas will focus on how his role brings value to the program and the category.
Bob Pease – Brewers Association Chief Operating Officer will talk briefly about the launch of the BA Export Development Program’s newest guide Best Practices Guide to Quality Craft Beer – Delivering Optimal Flavor to the Consumer.
New this year, the reception has been extended to allow more time for networking and socializing. A selection of beer along with some light appetizers will be on hand following the discussion. This will be a great opportunity to meet brewers interested in the export market and international importers/distributors who will be in attendance.
Please RSVP to Mark Snyder at firstname.lastname@example.org if you plan to attend. This will help us plan for the beer, food and room size.
