Fifteen independent American craft breweries showcased a diverse group of craft beer brands and styles in Brazil with the Brewers Association (BA) Export Development Program (EDP).  The BA EDP visited Brazil in late April to host American craft beers seminars for culinary, sommelier, and cicerone students as well as for trade contacts.

The following American craft breweries were featured at events in Sao Paolo and Rio de Janiero:

Events like those conducted in Brazil are one way in which the BA EDP helps create greater awareness of and interest for American craft beers.  Similar projects have helped result in distribution for American craft beers to Brazil in recent years. 

Bob Pease and Eric Rosenberg attended on behalf of the Brewers Association.  The complete set of events included seminars at two campuses of the Universidade Anhembi-Morumbi, a seminar at the Estacio de Sa, and receptions at one retail ship and two popular pubs/restaurants.
