The 2014 Brussels Beer Challenge competition winners have been announced. The competition promoted the beer industry in a market that is not only a benchmark for beer but also home to connoisseurs. This was the third year for the competition and drew an impressive field of competitors and judges from around the world. There were 61 judges, who judged over 725 entries in 50 categories from 15 different countries. The USA submitted 177 beers into the competition. Brewers Association’s Chris Swersery, Technical Brewing Projects Manager/Competition Manager and Andreas Fält, American Craft Beer Ambassador in Europe were judges at this year’s competition.

Congratulations to the BA Export Development Program members winning 52 awards. Gold: 12, silver: 17 and bronze: 18 awards.

American craft breweries also took 5 honorable mentions.
