The Brewers Association (BA) is expanding resources to help make more technical brewing and pipeline information available to BA members. This position is new and is a reaction to greater information available, greater networking by BA staff and the technical committee over the last several years. It is also a reflection of organizational financial success. The position was proposed by Technical Committee Chair Ken Grossman and approved by the board of directors to be included in the 2013 Brewers Association annual plan.

The Technical Brewing Projects Assistant is a full-time position designed to provide technical brewing expertise and project coordination for the professional division of the BA. The project work includes technical content creation and review for www.BrewersAssociation.org, The New Brewer, Brewers Association Power Hours, surveys, and projects developed in coordination with the Brewers Association Technical Committee and Pipeline Committee.

The person selected will work closely with BA Technical Brewing Projects Coordinator Chris Swersey and BA Director Paul Gatza.  The location of the position is Boulder, Colorado, but the hiring group will evaluate candidates who have circumstances that preclude this possibility.
