Brewers Association Closed September 16

The Brewers Association office is closed Monday, September 16, 2013. A determination for Tuesday, September 17 will likely depend on whether any further flooding occurs today, as the area is in a flood advisory through Tuesday morning. We do expect to be open for business as usual Tuesday. The Great American Beer Festival is proceeding along on schedule. Our beer receiving and sorting team has been in contact with many local brewers about their entries.

Our thoughts are with brewers along the Front Range of Colorado who may have suffered damage at their breweries or homes. Many of the Brewers Association staff are available via email today. Some services, including the BA Forum and telephone access, may be limited temporarily. Brewers Association staff are believed to be safe after the flooding of the last several days, and members of our staff family have suffered between no damage to homes and extensive flood damage.

Thanks for all those who have expressed concerned and offered help.
