Paul Gatza

Paul is director of the Brewers Association (BA). Paul is a member of the association’s Brewpubs, Technical, Communications, Market Development, PR & Marketing and Government Affairs committees. Paul’s origin in the beer community started when he took up homebrewing in 1990. He worked on the bottling line at Boulder Beer and owned a pair of homebrew supply shops from 1994 to 1998. He served as director of the American Homebrewers Association for seven years and is in his 12th year as BA director.

Brewers Association Office Reopens

After a temporary closure due to flooding along the Front Range of Colorado, the Brewers Association office re-opened Tuesday morning, September 17 at 8 a.m.

Brewers Association Closed September 16

Due to widespread flooding in Boulder County, Colorado, the need to allow movement of emergency and reconstruction vehicles and a flood advisory that is in place until Tuesday morning, the Brewer Association office is closed Monday.

U.S. Brewery Count Passes 2500.

With the addition of 69 new operational U.S. breweries entered into our database in May 2013, the U.S. brewery count has now climbed to 2514.
